Great TV and Social Media Commercial

I have been watching a lot of TV recently because of all of the professional football games that are going on.  When I watch TV I normally hate watching commercials and try to flip to a different channel while one is on a commercial break, but with the amount of commercial breaks in a football game I have found myself sitting through hours of commercials. While sitting through these hours of commercials I have come across one that I really enjoy, the Doritos locos taco from Taco Bell. One of the reason I think I like this commercial so much is because it does have a great song from Passion Pit called take a walk. The other reason I think I like this ad so much is because it is a TV ad that shows how Taco bell has been using social media to interact with their consumers. This ad shows a ton of user-uploaded Instagram photos of consumers eating the Doritos locos taco. I think the reason this combination of television ad with social media is so cool is because it showed how many people love the taco which makes the taco look pretty good and it would be pretty cool to see a picture you uploaded to the internet make it on national television. I hope more companies start using their social media to come up with creative ways to interact with consumers and to show them their appreciation for the consumer interacting with them. I also hope taco bell releases a cool ranch Doritos taco because I liked the first one so much and wouldn’t mind trying a cool ranch flavor.
